Creating a Unit

Created by Felipe Hermosilla, Modified on Fri, 27 Feb at 2:17 PM by Katie Inge

Unit is a sub-section within a module that organises related lessons into a structured group. Units help break down content into manageable sections, improving clarity and navigation for users.

Each module must contain at least one unit before it can be saved or published.

How to Create a Unit

  1. Enter a Unit Title.

  2. Add a Description to outline the purpose or focus of the unit.

  3. Upload a thumbnail image (JPG or PNG format).

  4. Click Add Lesson to begin adding content.

  5. Enter a Lesson Title.

  6. Select the appropriate Content Type. Available options include:

    • Questions

    • Video upload

    • Formatted text article

    • External video link (e.g., YouTube or Vimeo)

    • SCORM package (Sharable Content Object Reference Model)

    • PDF upload

  7. Add and configure the lesson content as required.

  8. Repeat the process to add additional lessons as needed.

  9. Click Create Unit to save your changes.

Your unit will then be available within the selected module.
